Found rehabilitation and skilled nursing for father in Peoria, AZ.

My father, who is a Korean War veteran, was diagnosed with dementia earlier this year, and it was very difficult to continue to care for him at home, so our family made the very hard decision to place him into a home that could take care of him the way he needed to be taken care of.
I was referred to Denisa Barbur at AZ Senior Options, and Denisa was very accommodating in setting up a time to come to our home to assess my father’s situation, and to meet with us in order to determine what type of home would most benefit him. Denisa spent a fair amount of time with both my family and then alone with my dad, in order to understand what our particular situation was.
Denisa and I toured many homes together, there were some that were very nice, but none that felt right to me. I asked her to continue her search for other homes to tour. She visited other homes on her own and found one that she thought would work out, so I met her to see the home. As soon as I walked in the door, the home felt like it would be the best place for my father. After touring the home and getting to know the caretakers, I knew Denisa had found the right place for my dad.
I was dreading the entire process of finding the right place for my father to be taken care of, but Denisa made the entire situation easier for me to deal with. I have no doubt that Denisa truly loves what she does, it came through in the hard work she put in for my family and for my father. She listened to all of my concerns and questions with patience and understanding. I can’t imagine how hard this would have been if I had not had Denisa right by my side through this whole process, she was a blessing to me and my family during this very difficult time in our lives.
Denisa has been such a great resource for me; she is a great advocate for people like myself and my family. I highly recommend Denisa and her quality services to any family in need of finding the right home for their loved one.
